This Week in Congress

On Monday, President Biden signed the bipartisan infrastructure bill into law and the House continued to await the Congressional Budget Office (CBO)’s score of the Build Back Better Bill, which may not occur until this weekend. CBO released preliminary estimates for eight of the bill’s thirteen sets of recommendations by House committees totaling $298 billion. The Senate continued with nomination votes. Both chambers will not be in session next week due to Thanksgiving Day Recess.
