Why We Belong

Your ASA membership entitles you to all the benefits described in our membership FAQ and more. Learn more about the value of ASA membership in the ASA 2012 Member Value Summary.

Any person, firm or corporation that in the normal course of business furnishes subcontract labor and/or materials to the construction industry or provides a service to such subcontractors or material suppliers is eligible for regular membership in the association. Architects, engineers, general contractors, construction managers and construction owners are not eligible for regular membership in ASA.

Most ASA members belong to ASA through local associations and state organizations, and must join through those organizations. Where there are no state/local ASA-affiliated organizations, "at-large" members join ASA directly.
