Construction Subcontractors Are Learning How to Minimize Financial Losses and Maximize Margin Gains with New FASA Video-on-Demand
ALEXANDRIA, Va.—Construction subcontractors are learning how to minimize financial losses and maximize margin gains with a new video-on-demand from the Foundation of the American Subcontractors Association.
Identifying the tools and technology needed to best position your organization for a successful future can be daunting. In the on-demand video, “Technology and Transparency,” Stephane McShane, Maxim Consulting, Denver, Colo., discusses why these tools are critical to future profitability and provides examples of ERP systems, project management software, production tracking solutions, and purchasing solutions.
In addition, McShane shares examples of the reports and metrics necessary to provide transparency on performance, so that challenges can be identified early enough to effect a change to minimize financial losses and maximize margin gains.
“Technology and Transparency” (Item #8105) is $65 for ASA members and $95 for nonmembers. This and other on-demand videos are available through FASA’s Contractors’ Knowledge Depot.
FASA was established in 1987 as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt entity to support research, education and public awareness. Through its Contractors’ Knowledge Network, FASA is committed to forging and exploring the critical issues shaping subcontractors and specialty trade contractors in the construction industry. FASA provides subcontractors and specialty trade contractors with the tools, techniques, practices, attitude and confidence they need to thrive and excel in the construction industry.
